Nattacia Satie

Nattacia Satie is a trilingual European-American actress with US and EU passports, known for Look Up (2016), Celebrity Ghost Stories (2008) and Grand Theft Auto IV (2008). She trained in the Method Acting technique with Susan Grace Cohen (Lee Strasberg's right hand of 17 years) at her New York City studio, and with Susan Batson (private coach to Nicole Kidman and Juliette Binoche) at her Black Nexxus Studio NYC. She studied film and television techniques at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts with Jay R. Goldenberg (private coach to Salma Hayek, Alicia Silverstone and Cybill Shepherd in Los Angeles).Musically, she trained in jazz singing and improvisation with renowned veteran jazz pianist Barry Harris.She wrote the screenplay and soundtrack songs for a feature film entitled Bibi & Verlaine, which is in development.Satie speaks transatlantic English (a blend of American and British English, which in the 1930s to 1950s was adopted by American aristocrats and Hollywood actors, such as Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant), speaks also fluent neutral Hanover High German, and conversational Parisian French.Her heritage is Slavic/Nordic (Slovenian, Czech, Scandinavian). Austrian-born, she lived briefly in Vienna, Zurich and Paris, before immigrating to New York City in 1990, receiving Extraordinary Ability Alien status in 2001, and self-sponsoring her American citizenship with her acting, screen- and song writing.Nattacia moved to London, UK, in 2014, where she currently resides.She holds a dual citizenship with both an American and European passport, and has Settled Status in the United Kingdom (the equivalent of US Greencard) with the right to live and work in the UK indefinitely.
