Laura Cassidy

Laura Cassidy was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and grew up in the beautiful, yet quiet, resort town of Destin, Florida. Laura's family knew from an early age that acting was her passion: as a toddler she pestered her parents to get her an agent, and, throughout her early years (and embarrassingly beyond), she couldn't pass within 5 feet of a mirror without being caught practicing various faces in the reflection. Laura attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in theatre and music. Shortly thereafter Laura moved to Los Angeles to pursue her lifelong dream of acting in film and television.Favorite credits include her work on The Lover at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London and her role as a keyboard-playing, vulcan-looking alien in in the rock 'n roll musical Return to the Forbidden Planet.
