Hannah Hogan is a Canadian actress, stand up comedian and television writer. She was born and raised on a farm outside of Peterborough, Ontario and was accepted into PCVS's Integrated Art's Program High School majoring in Drama and Art. After High School, she moved to Dublin, Ireland, where she lived for a year on a working visa. She returned to Canada and was accepted into Humber College's Acting For Film and Television Program. Hannah stood out in her class and was granted the first ever Brian Linehan Scholarship for Outstanding Artistic Promise. Hannah graduated with Honors from Humber College and received the Dean's Letter of Achievement for her high academic score.During College, Hannah became involved in the local sketch and improv comedy scene in Toronto. With two of her college classmates, she formed a sketch comedy troupe called Third Banana Comedy and also became a cast member of The Bad Dog Improv Theater Company in East Toronto. Hannah performed sketch and improv all over Toronto, and was quickly discovered by a talent scout who was looking for young talent for a new comedy show on YTV. Corus Entertainment searched across Canada for young comedic talent and along with six other actors, Hannah was cast in the sketch comedy series "That's So Weird". The popular TV show aired for 3 seasons on YTV and is still in syndication in Canada, Australia and Brazil. Hannah won a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Ensemble Cast in a Comedy Series.Hannah reached an even wider audience when she became a popular guest star on the "Unsolicited Project", a LGBTQ/female friendly YouTube Channel started by her friends Sarah Rotella and Adrianna DiLonardo. With the Unsolicited Project, Hannah starred in the web series "Til Lease Do Us Part" which has over a million hits on YouTube. Hannah's original character, "Gay Aunt Barb"- a closeted old woman who everyone knows is gay except for her- has a large millennial fan following on YouTube, Twitter and Instagram.After Hannah finished working on "That's So Weird", she began performing stand up comedy. She moved to New York City briefly to perform on the big apple stages, but returned to Canada when the TV show she was acting in "Meet The Family" was renewed for a second season. For the second season of the City TV comedy series, Hannah was hired to act in and write for the show. She is credited for writing six episodes and acting in five. Hannah was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Writing in a Comedy Series.Hannah was a creative consultant and writer for the CBC Punchline series, "The Nations" starring Sean Cullen and Jarred Christmas and she also guest starred in the popular CBC Punchline series "True Dating Stories".Hannah's passion for stand up comedy continues to grow. She performed at Just For Laughs 42, NXNE, The Dark Comedy Festival, The She Dot Festival, The Green Gravel Comedy Festival and Bird City Comedy Festival.
